Fruits and Form
This workshop combines learning about plants and learning how to draw and paint three-dimmensional shapes. The term "fruit" has many meanings, and to a botanist includes everything from the "seeds" on a strawberry, to capsules, legumes, cherries, and pineapples.
I interweave illustrated lectures of different fruit types including specimens to work from, with demonstrations on how to render these samples in pencil, ink, or watercolor (or a combination). During independent work time I am available to answer your questions and help you with your work. $140 for the workshop; please be vaccinated. Contact me at vorobik@gmail.com to sign up.
