Often overlooked, this poisonous relative of the common blue edible camas has smaller more numerous flowers, with lovely yellow nectaries at the base of each of the perianth segments. It often grows with camas in meadows and swales; native americans were thought to have weeded these plants out of the meadows that they tended for camas harvest.
