Painting Orchids on the Big Island of Hawaii: October 20-26, 2013.
Deadline for Application: deadline for October 2013 orchid painting retreat is 15 August, 2013. Contact Linda at vorobik@gmail.com ASAP, as registration is limited to 8 participants, and sign up is first come, first serve.
Location: This retreat is located at a vacation home in a quiet neighborhood, within a five minute walk from Kealakekua Bay, a marine wildlife sanctuary with magnificent coral, dolphins to swim with, and incredible reef fish. Snorkeling and swimming opportunities daily! What: A week of botanical watercolor instruction at a vacation home filled with lovely orchids. Formal instruction occurs daily and includes numerous art demonstrations and individual instruction as needed. Opportunities to swim or snorkel (optional) are available daily. Meals: include two nights out, one breakfast out, two lunches out and the remaining meals at home, with delicious tropical fruits, Kona coffee, and fresh fish and vegetables.
