Painting Orchids on the Big Island of Hawaii
Dates: February 21 - 27, Sunday-Saturday, 2010
Location: The workshop is located at a vacation home in a quiet neighborhood, within a five minute walk from Kealakekua Bay, a marine wildlife sanctuary with magnificent coral, dolphins to swim with, and incredible reef fish. What: A week of botanical watercolor instruction at a vacation home filled with lovely orchids. Formal instruction occurs daily and includes numerous art demonstrations and individual instruction as needed. Opportunities to swim or snorkel (optional) are available daily. Meals: include two nights out, one breakfast out, two lunches out and the remaining meals at home, with delicious tropical fruits, Kona coffee, and fresh fish and vegetables.
